报告题目:  Detection of entanglement using PT-moments

报告摘要:

Although quantum entanglement is an important resource, its characterization is still quite challenging. The partial transposition is a common method to detect bipartite entanglement. In this paper, we study the partial transpose (PT) moments of two-qubit states, and give a complete description about the whole region, composed of the second and third PT moments, for all two-qubit states. Furthermore, we determine the accurate region corresponding to all entangled two-qubit states. The specific states corresponding to those boundary points of the whole region as well as the border lines between separable and entangled two-qubits are given. As the applications of this result, we characterize the entangled region of PT-moments for the families of Werner states and Bell-diagonal states. The relations between entanglement and the pairs of PT moments are revealed from these typical examples. We also numerically plot the whole region of all possible PT moments for X-states, and find that the possible region for X-states is almost the same as the whole region of PT-moments for all two-qubit states.

报告人简介：张林，2012年毕业于浙江大学基础数学专业，获得理学博士学位，2012年开始至今在杭州电子科技大学理学院工作。主要从事量子信息理论的数学基础研究。2019年6月-2020年6月期间访问德国马克斯普朗克数学研究所(莱比锡)，主题是随机联合测量和非局域性、不确定性关系。近年来以第一作者身份发表SCI学术论文40多篇，目前主持国家自然科学基金面上项目1项。
